How is progress tracked at Montessori Preschool?

Progress is tracked through observations, assessments, and regular parent-teacher meetings. We start with a baseline assessment and monitor growth as children advance.

How do you handle discipline?

We use positive redirection by guiding children to better choices and removing them from challenging situations. Incident reports are shared with parents to ensure  transparency.

 Do parents provide snacks and lunch for their children?  

Yes, we ask parents to provide snacks and lunch for their children to accommodate any allergies and respect individual dietary preferences. However, if you happen to forget your child's snack or lunch, there’s no need to worry. We always have extra snacks and food available to ensure no child goes hungry.

Do you help children with eating food?

Parents provide the food, and we assist children in eating independently. We ensure no child goes hungry.

Do you help with potty training?

Yes, we support and assist children through the potty-training process.

How do you handle potty training, and how do you prepare children for using public restrooms?

At our preschool, we use regular-sized toilets with step stools for potty training       to ensure a smoother and more comfortable transition for children. This approach helps them build confidence and independence, making it easier for them to use standard toilets in public places like parks or restaurants without confusion!         

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

Do you offer full-time and part-time schedules?

Yes, we offer morning, afternoon, and evening programs (8:30–11:30, 11:30–2:30, and 2:30–5:30) with options for two, three, or five days per week.

Can I drop off and pick up anytime?

Yes, you can drop off and pick up your child anytime within your enrolled schedule.

Do you accept government subsidies?

Yes, we accept government subsidies and work closely with agencies to support childcare needs.

Does my child need immunizations before enrolling?

Yes, all children in California must have up-to-date immunizations before starting preschool.

Can I stay with my child during the first days?

Yes, you can. However, we highly recommend avoiding this as it may prolong the transition process.

Do I need to bring my child for the tour?

Yes, it is mandatory to bring your child along for the tour, as well as any other significant family members. This helps ensure everyone is comfortable and familiar with the preschool environment.

Do you share pictures and videos of activities?

Yes, we share photos and videos throughout the day via our app.

Can I stop by the preschool anytime?

If your child is enrolled in our care, you can stop by anytime using your door code. If your child is not yet enrolled, please schedule a tour, and we’ll be happy to show you around.
